By Our Staff Writer AWASSA, Ethiopia---Conspiracy theories about UFO (Unidentified Flying Objects) sightings and aliens are hardly new. But now, all the nations and nationalities gathered in Awassa have confirmed the appearance of aliens on Saturday morning---just one week after they were sighted in Addis Ababa. Eyewitnesses reported that the UFO spacecraft landed in Awassa town early Saturday near the city’s large lake. “It landed on the shores of lake Awassa about 10 meters from Wabi Shebelle Hotel” according to Tulu Demeksa who was in Awassa for the event. A second witness by the name Semaynesh Gebeyew 26 added, “I saw the aliens walking out of the spacecraft and booking a room at the hotel”. A Wabi Shebelle hotel receptionist who was contacted by our correspondent confirmed the reservation. The receptionist further stated that the aliens checked out the next morning and took off in their spaceship after abducting what appeared to be two Kinijits. “Their spaceship sucked in the two Kinijits and flew away at the speed of light” said the receptionist. “they didn’t even pay for parking” she added. The parking lot attendant is said to have committed suicide as a result. Representatives of CUD contacted by our reporters, however, refused to neither confirm nor deny the reports of abduction and parking incident. A CUD spokesperson instead claimed that the aliens were ‘friendly’ and that they endorsed their party’s political program. “They [the aliens] have agreed to donate a car to Birtukuan Mideksa! Therefore, they are on our side” Said the Kinjit spokesperson. In North America, Mr. Elias Kifle of ER claimed that the aliens will be financing AFD as well as the insurgency in Mogadishu 100%. “We will unite with the aliens to topple the Ethiopian government” Mr. Kifle said. When asked about the abductions and the parking-lot incident, Mr. Kifle furiously answered; “individuals and groups knowingly or naively are bent on destroying any efforts of the patriotic aliens”. Our reporters also caught up with Lidetu Ayalew of UEDP-Medhin. Mr. Lidetu was asked to comment on the alleged abduction of two Kinijits whom he used to represent. He responded by saying “Since this is a national issue, we are following the matter closely and we expect to discuss it in the parliament”. Lidetu further stated; “But if the aliens can show us the Milky-Way, then we will show them The Third Way!
